How we make money

Right now

Today the site earns nothing. There are no paid listings, no sponsors and no affiliate deals switched on. Every listing is here because it's useful, and every fact links to where we checked it.

What may come later

• Booking links. Some Reserve and Book buttons may earn us a small commission from the booking service. You pay the same price. Those links are marked as sponsored in the code, and we'll say so next to the button.
• Sponsor spots. A few boxes around the site are set aside for local sponsors. They're always labelled “Sponsored” and sit apart from the listings. Until someone books one, they show a house ad.
• Island Buddies. The AI island characters we're building will be a paid pass: one per group per trip, $19.99, shared with your whole crew. Meet the Island Buddies.

What money never changes

• Which places we list, and how we sort them (distance, open now, your filters).
• Hours, prices, phone numbers and other facts. They come from the business or an official source, never from a sponsor.
• Our price ratings, which follow a published rule.
